BKF Student Union Cooperative
Foundation
In the summer of 2010 BKF and Tiszacipő Zrt. started discussions about a potential student cooperative which led to the foundation of BKF Student Union Cooperative in August 2010. The board of directors consists of three members: Dr. Csaba Titkos Nagy, the Commercial Director of Szonda Phone Ltd., András Gladinetz, the General Director of Tiszacipő Zrt. and Dr. István Kiss Pál, the Managing Director of Budapest College of Communication and Business who also acts as the chairman of the board.
Objectives
Our key objective is to foster students’ professional development and provide high standard service for companies who wish to employ student workers.
In line with the goals above, we have a strong focus on the employment possibilities and potential work experience offered to young adults. By providing quality labour service and skilled workers with a firm work ethic and professional knowledge and skills we not only serve the interest of our customers but also the aims of our young employees.
The productivity of student workers heavily relies on their specific working conditions. If they do enjoy their job and the company of their fellow workers while also making some money, their efficiency will sharply increase. Therefore, we do our best to find you a job where you can make the most of it by gaining experience, having fun and earning a salary.
Mission
The only way for students to get some work experience in today’s Hungary is through the services of student cooperatives. In order to increase the employment chances of graduates entering the labour market, it is imperative that they become aware of the significant differences between being a student and an employee during their college years. They should – at this early stage - understand the value of the money they get for their work and learn to make ends meet. They should comprehend what responsibility is all about. They have to learn to be on time and to do what they are told to do. And this is exactly what we offer.
The mission of BKF Student Union Cooperative is to provide a steady supply of such job opportunities for an increasing number of students. By joining the union, students who are looking for a job may find employment as members of the cooperative.
Although we primarily focus on BKF students, our cooperative is also ready to offer its services to students of other institutions. Job openings are provided for by the members of the board of directors who work hard to get into and maintain contact with as many companies and business organizations as possible. Students are informed about current vacancies via e-mails or on the phone.
