INSTITUTE OF MARKETING
Our institute is in charge of the professional co-ordination of courses related to the field of marketing, advertising and public relations, in addition to the supervision of the BSc program in Commerce and Marketing.
The passion and dedication of our staff of full-time and external lecturers are underpinned by the fact that, in addition to transferring their knowledge and hands-on experience to future generations, they all have a diverse background, playing vital roles in marketing in their past and current positions at market research companies, advertising and PR agencies and multinational corporations.
Highlighting the significance of active professional relations and networks, our institute has a sharp focus on maintaining contacts with national professional organizations (including the Hungarian Advertising Association, the Hungarian Public Relations Association and the Hungarian Marketing Association), as well as working in co-operation with key members of the professional media such as Brand&Trend, Kreatív magazine, Magyar Reklám (Hungarian Advertising), Marketing és Média (Marketing and Media) and Mediainfo.
Each term the majority of dissertation papers written in a wide range of exciting topics are submitted to the Institute of Marketing, but you should also consult us if you intend to take part in challenging professional competitions. These contests include the Hungarian Advertising Student Competition organized by Kreatív magazine, the OMD Media Student Competition and the InterAd International Advertising Competition, where several teams of BKF student have achieved a position among the top 10 finalists in the past few years.
