Institute of Social Sciences and International Studies

The Institute has been operating as an independent organizational unit within Budapest College of Communication and Business since October 2006. The courses offered by the Institute cover a wide range of areas. In addition to law, public administration, sociology, political science, psychology, philosophy and ethics we also cater for subjects focusing on research methodology, the European Union and comprehensive theoretical and practical classes in the field of relevant international studies.

Since our students study a host of subjects in social sciences upon starting their undergraduate training as freshers, the priority of the staff of the Institute is to enable them to build on solid core competencies of practical use during their specialized studies. Our staff members also focus on the importance of the latest developments in their respective fields highlighting the ever-changing nature of our social and legal environment. Our twofold objective is to train graduates who enter the labor market as competitive experts of cutting-edge thinking and who leave college as learned, cultured and broad-minded intellectuals.
