PRAXIS is a project financed by the European Commission within Lifelong Learning Programme, subprogram ERASMUS. Its main aim is launching, improvement and promotion of European Center for Project/Internship Excellence offering Project Internships (PI) for students that is practical experience in the international projects within European Higher Education Area (EHEA).
![]() PRAXIS Erasmus Network European Center for Project/Internship Excellence Any institution that is concerned with higher education and students’ employability might be interested in our work and its achievements. Among them, we may stress: students, higher education institutions (HEI), employers, governmental departments related to higher education and professional associations. One of the most import effect of the Project is creation of Project Internships (PI) market, which allows students to get information about PI and support possibility to undertake internships in the international institutions. Praxis involves 49 institutions from 30 countries, with its contribution of the Budapest College of Communication, Business and Art as a leader of the Work Package – Events coordination. The work plan for the network, covering a three years period and is organized in 11 work packages. The focus of the project during the first year will be on the analysis of the field and design of the models and tools to describe and operate on it. During this first year we will map and model the target field of PRAXIS. When referring to the field we mean the broad area of project/internship and similar instruction types along with any initiatives related to them and to improving student employability. The second half of the first year and the second year will be focused on setting up and deploying the center for excellence in the field and the virtual PRIN market (PRIN stands for PROject/INternship). Designing the market and the center for excellence as well as setting them up, while assuring the required critical mass, will be the main achievements of the second year of the project. The third and last year will be focused on exploitation and sustainability to assure the continuity of PRAXIS beyond funding. We will be focused on identifying opportunities for innovation in the field, enlarging the consortium and publishing a book with the main results of PRAXIS. PRAXIS network consist of:
