BKF STUDENT IN THE TOP 100
The series of photographs taken by Berci Geberle has qualified as one of the 100 semi-finalists at the international Google Photography Prize competition. With the aim of finding the talents of the future, the judges selected the top 100 students from among nearly 20,000 participants across 148 countries.
The Google Photography Prize was launched by Google and Saatchi Gallery, London last November. The competition is open to higher education student photographers from all over the world. This year participants could submit photographs in 10 categories. The top 100 semi-finalists were selected from among nearly 20,000 entrants by an international panel of 100 world-class renowned experts. The semi-finalists were awarded a Samsung Galaxy Nexus phone. The list of the top 10 photographers includes a Hungarian participant as well.
Berci Geberle, a student of BKF majoring in advertising management submitted his photographs taken at the European Swimming Championship, Budapest in the Sport category and came out as one of the 100 semi-finalists.
