We believe that our graduates cannot become successful and efficient members of the national and international business community without a fluent competence in a second language. In order to enhance the chances of our graduates entering the labour market, we offer them the opportunity to prepare for and take the TOEIC test on our premises.

The TOEIC test is the most widely used internationally acclaimed and recognized English language test for businesses. An increasing number of organizations, multinational companies, governmental bodies and other institutions use the test to assess the English proficiency of their colleagues, workers and job seekers.

Being a reliable and objective form of evaluating the language skills required in international business situations on a daily basis, the acquisition of the language test provides applicants with a competitive edge whether they are at the start of their career or in middle and top positions at various types of companies.

Length of the test: The TOEIC test is a paper-based test of approximately 2 and a half hours.

Parts of the test:

45 minutes of listening exercises (100 questions);
75 minutes of reading exercises (100 questions);
About 30 minutes for administrative purposes.

How to pass the test:
The total number of scores is 990 points. The scores gained indicate the current language skills of the person taking the test, so no one can fail the test.

When to take the test:
We launch preparation courses at the beginning of each term and organize a test at the end of each term. For more information please contact the Institute of Foreign Languages.
