BA in TOURISM AND CATERING
Tourism and catering is one of the most popular degree programmes in Hungary primarily due to its colourful, diverse nature and its human-centred view. Our B.A. programme offers students the opportunity to discover the amazing world of tourism not only by acquiring specific techniques applied in each subfield but by understanding its operation in its complexity. General Theory of Tourism; Tourism Economics; Attraction and Visitor Management; Regional Development and Tourism Planning; Hotel Management Studies; Catering Studies; Introduction to Travel Agency Studies; Tourism and Catering Marketing; Tourism Geography; Congress and Event Organization; Animation; Health Tourism Marketing; Introduction to Wellness Tourism; Exhibition Organization; Business Protocol and Presentation; Recreation and Sports Animation; Destination Marketing.
Our courses are also recommended by the National Tourism Committee; the Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry and MATUR (the Hungarian Tourism Association).
As part of the program all foreign students have the opportunity to attend a course in “Hungarian as a second language” free of charge!

• Completed secondary school studies

TOEFL : min. 66 point or
IELTS: min. 5.0 point or
Cambridge ESOL: FCE-vantage level or
Business exams: TOEIC: min. 750 point or
Cambridge BEC: vantage level
Tuition fee:
• For EU students and citizens of the EEA member countries : 1200 EUR / semester
• Special promotion for Turkish citizens: 1200 EUR / semester
• For non-EU students: 2100 EUR / semester
