BKF Scholarship for foreign students in the English language programmes

BKF offers scholarship for foreign students supported by BKF Communication Foundation!
You are entitled to receive 1000 EUR scholarship if your average grades are the highest in your programme. It is calculated in each semester from the corrected credit index.

Who can apply?
• Full-time foreign students, who are enrolled in one of our English language BA or MA programme
• If your corrected credit index is 3.0 or above

Scholarship program starts in the academic year 2012-13.

Application deadline: February 21. 2013.

 

Hungarian State scholarships for foreign students

Through the Hungarian Scholarship Board Office, the Hungarian Minister of National Resources offers scholarships for foreign students and professors of higher education institutions as well as research fellows who intend to gain further professional experience in Hungarian institutions of higher education or research.
MÖB national partner offices and competent departments of Ministries of Education of the states are in charge to provide detailed information concerning applicants from the mentioned countries.

The Ministry of Education of the Republic of Hungary established a „scholarship pool”, a scholarship system of various types of scholarships, allowing for applications from the following countries/territories: Albania, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Colombia, Cyprus, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Korean Republic, Kuwait, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Mexico, The Netherlands, Norway, The Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Romania, Singapore, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Syria, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom.
Citizens of Austria can also apply for Hungarian scholarships through the Stiftung Aktion Österreich-Ungarn (www.omaa.hu).

General Information

Scholarship types for the 2011/2012 term
A. Partial training (3-10 months)
B. Postgraduate studies, research (3-21 days or 1-10 months)
C. /1.- full PhD studies (36 months)
    /2.- partial PhD studies (12 months)
D. post PhD studies, research (1-10 months)
E. Study trip for leading professors and researchers (3-21 days or 1-10 months)
F. Summer University 2011. (1-4 weeks)
The scholarship can be used for studies and researches in all areas of science or arts at an accredited and pre-defined institute of Hungarian higher education or research.
The scholarships can be used only for Hungarian studies or researches. Residence of scholars during the whole term of the scholarship has to be on the territory of Hungary.
