Foreign language coursesFOREIGN LANGUAGE COURSES We provide general language courses in seven different languages and offer students scholarships abroad to improve their language skills in an international environment. Complying with the regulations of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages we have developed our own program of teaching foreign languages which has been officially accredited as an adult training program. Our general language courses prepare students to successfully complete compulsory special foreign language course units and they also provide the chance to study a second or third language and to take part in Erasmus exchange programs and other foreign scholarships. By the time our students graduate, they are confident speakers of foreign languages at an advanced professional, academic and social level. Courses in English In today’s globalized, intercultural world, our priority is to train professionals who can effectively and flexibly use foreign languages for both social and professional purposes. Since English is the language of the international community, nobody can leave our college without completing at least one course unit in English. Language teaching is an integral part of our education program. General Language Courses We recommend our general language courses to everyone, from starter to intermediate level, who does not yet have a language exam. We provide courses at different levels in English, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Russian and Spanish. These courses aim at preparing students to study professional contents in a foreign language, to independently search for information in foreign language newspapers, in the media and on the internet, and to perform their professional duties in a foreign language in their future chosen career. Special Courses in Foreign Languages Courses in foreign languages help students to ground their professional knowledge in a foreign language. This way, students become fluent in widely-spoken languages acquiring real language skills and up-to-date technical terms in their own specialized field, giving them a head start both in the national and international labor market. Professional foreign language skills are fostered by the wide range of courses offered by various specializations such as International Communication, International Marketing and Corporate and Business Communication. Courses are available in English, French, German and Italian.
